Inspired by Bargain Block

We developed this series with HGTV as a digital prelude to the launch of Bargain Block's second season.  We knew the show, we knew Keith and Evan, and we knew that viewers loved how they could take an extreme budget limitation and make it an extremely cool make-over.  Because the guys are able to make so many pieces themselves, we thought it would be awesome to share their skills with the fans.

We combed all of Season 1 to find the best crafts that felt approachable to the inspired DIYer and found some common themes.  Keith is a great picker, Evan is a meticulous craftsperson, and together they make magic.

During a cold Detroit March, we assembled a team to tackle these DIYs in the Bargain Block backstage shop.  While bringing a crew into a personal space can be a lot, we assembled a team of pros who know how to seamlessly fit into an environment as documentarians and allowed the guys to work their magic.
